  • COSTUME DESIGN LUNA NEGRA DANCE THEATER CHICAGO

    Luna Negra, dance company from Chicago, commissioned the wardrobe designing for the play carmen.maquia to David Delfin.
    Clean lines, geometric shapes, and opposite colors provided to Carmen, gypsies and bullfighters an intense character, but in a simply, sober and contemporary point of view. 

  • DAVIDELFIN LIVING

    In 2011, under the motto “go to bed with davidelfin”, the firm explored a new design field by creating a brand new line of home clothing, composed by different duvet, sheets, cushions and pillows, which are inspired by davidelfin’s latest collections and his own ideas about what sweet dreams should be. Davidelfin Living is full of fun and optimism. 

  • DESIGN OF THE HONDA REPSOL TEAM BIKE AND SUIT

    Davidelfin designs the bike and suit of the RepsolHonda team for the Grand Prix of Aragon.

    Davidelfin has been responsible for a unique newdesign for the bike and the suit that the three RepsolHonda riders wore exceptionally in the WorldChampionship race held in the circuit of Motorland Aragon, Alcañiz. Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner andAndrea Dovizioso surprised fans with a new design, unlike anything known in the world of motorcycles, minutes before therace.

    The inspiration came from the superheroes, thesupermen, bullet men and show in all its aspects.

    The result is a design that highlights five-pointed stars, with Repsol'slogo in Davidelfin's singular handwriting,that gives the bike and thesuit a unique character.

  • INTERIOR DESIGN OF HOTEL FINCA DE LOS ARANDINOS

    David Delfin has done the interior design of Hotel Finca de los Arandinos in La Rioja.

    He has been in charge of the interior design of 10 rooms and he defines them as changing rooms that surprise the visitor with a new detail eachtime.

    The designer has also displayed his imagination in different areas suchas reception, gazebo or restaurant.

    This project has been done in partnership with AKA estudio.

  • UNIFORMS HOTELCHAIN IBEROSTAR

    The Spanish hotelchain IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has had Davidelfin for renovation of their uniforms. The designer has created pieces that reflect perfectly the image of the hotel chain with a unique style. David has been working for several months to design an exclusive collection IBEROSTAR by Davidelfin thatwill wear more than 21,000 employees in 15 countries where the company operates.


    The result has been a total of 15 models which reflect perfectly the spirit of IBEROSTAR through the modern and innovative vision of Davidelfin.

  • DESING INSPIRED BY THE MOVIE BLACK SWAN

    Davidelfinhas presented a unique and original dress inspired by Black Swan, the filmstarring by Natalie Portman. For the launching of Black Swan's Blu Ray, DVD andDigital Copy, this exclusive design will be put up for auction sale in order toraise funds for female children and teenager Indians girls' scholarships. PlanNGO campaign is searching for the elimination of female gender discriminationthat affects female children all around the world. Black Swan film deals withobsession, perfectionism and duality, and these ideas fit very well in DavidDelfin's creation, that's the reason why it has been a pleasure to work in suchan admirable project.

  • DR.MARTENS BY DAVIDELFIN

    Nonconformity and rebelliom come together in a unique project: Dr.Martens by davidelfin.

    Both share a common philosophy, finding their own identity and the idea of breaking with the established.
    This exclusive Limited Edition, Inspired by the decorative arts of the 50's, goes beyond a simple collaboration between two great fashion brands, is art in itself. The designer played with two concepts: the apparent and real, to give meaning to his work. Boots and shoes on wooden appearance, strong, tough yet warm. They are actually an optical illusion, a print on PU with streaks and knots which vary in each of the exclusive models. Davidelfin has successfully transformed and endorsed this icon of rebellion, expressing a common language releasing the energy that moves the two firms.
  • SONSIERRA 2010 PERFUME

    Davidelfin’s new proposal for BodegasSonsierra, SONSIERRA PERFUME, wants to emphasize the characteristicals cent andbouquets, typicals from the wine's world, where scent is as importantastaste.

    For that, going through references of classical perfumery and elements, wewant to establish a parallelism between these two worlds where fragrances andtheir perception are basic forits enjoyment.

    The selection of a special bottle, dyed in blue, as well as the packagingand label design with its classical typographyand iconography allows theenjoyment of this wine as if it were a perfume.

  • COSTUME DESIGN FOR COMPAÑIA DE DANZA (C.N.D)

    COSTUME DESIGN FOR NATIONAL DANCE COMPANY.
    National Dance Company commited for the choreographer Gustavo Ramírez the costume design for the play Chapter 10 to the designer David Delfín.
    Opened in Palacio de Festivales of Santander, this piece, is a collage of feelings in which the designer brought simplicity and sobriety.
  • PAGOS DE LA SONSIERRA' S WINES

    DESIGNING THE CORPORATE IDENTITY.
    The Riojan winery Pagos de la Sonsierra, within the project “La Rioja Estilo” (La Rioja Style) commissioned the designing of the corporate image belonging to the Pagos de La Sonsierra 2006 wine to the brand davidelfin.
    For this project, they decided to go for a risky and different approach, which toyed with the concept of “healing” associated with wine. In order to emphasize this concept, they decided to play with the iconography attributed to medicines and, with a small dose of both irony and humor, they went for an original aesthetic which confers the wine a unique and surprising image.
    Together with the labeling and packaging, the design included a special bottle which is reminiscent of a bottle of cough mixture.

    DAVIDELFIN FOR SUN PLANET, 
    Davidelfin launched in April 2009 his first eyewear collection for Sun Planet.
    Sun Planet is the first European retail chain which specializes in sunglasses and the second on a world level.

  • SUÁREZ JEWELER’S

    DAVIDELFIN FOR SUÁREZ JEWELER’S.
    Suárez, the prestigious jewelry brand, collaborated with davidelfin for the designing of two collections.
    One of them inspired in the punk movement using Tahitian pearls, silver and leather. An impressive and sophisticated line which unites the concepts of quality, design and innovation and which illustrates a new approach towards the use of pearls.
    The second collection evoke the Alexander Calder´s sculptures using stones like amethyst or topaz. 

  • HAMLET. TOMAZ PANDUR

    HAMLET. COSTUME DESIGN.
    Tomaz Pandur directed a new version of Shakespeare’s classic to be shown at the Teatro Español / Naves del Matadero theater in Madrid, with the actress Blanca Portillo playing the leading role and an innovative and risky mise-en-scène with costumes designed by David Delfín.
    The joint work of both the director and the designer himself resulted in an impressive and contemporary aesthetic which, by means of David Delfín’s iconography and also his detailed and refined style, conferred the play a great strength and a singular character.
    The remaining cast was made up of Hugo Silva (Claudius), Susi Sánchez (Gertrude), Asier Etxeandía (Ghost), Manuel Morón (Polonius), Félix Gómez (Horatio), Nur Al Levi (Ophelia), Quim Gutiérrez (Laertes), Manuel Moya (Marcellus), as well as Eduardo Mayo and Damià Plensa who shared the role of Rosencrantz and Santi Marín and Aitor Luna who played Guildenstern.

    ORLAN + DAVIDELFIN. SUTURE/ HYBRIDIZATION/ RECYCLING. ESPACIO AV MURCIA, 2008.
    ORLAN (1947 Saint-Etienne, France) internationaly known for her interdisciplinated work of art, photography, performances, video, sculptures...
    The project ORLAN Suture/ Hybridization/ Recycling at Espacio AV in Murcia. For its execution the artist collaborated with the designer David Delfín.
    This project is a step forward to the french one and consists in the hybridization of the wardrobe of the french artist, started from vests, trousers, skirts, suits and jackets that belonged to different moments of her life.

  • GUGGENHEIM BILBAO

    "SURREALISM THINGS". ACTION-SHOW, 2008.
    June 26, Gugenheim Bilbao Museum had a show about the most surrealistic creations from the spanish fashion designer David Delfín. The act that was added to the “Things about Surrealism” exhibition exposed at the same time in this emblematic museum.
    The show had a free open day too with the presence of the model and singer Bimba Bosé.
  • THE CABRIOLETS, DEMO

    THE CABRIOLETS, DEMO..
    The Cabriolets music band, composed by Bimba Bosé (singer), Diego Postigo (bass), David Uni:son (drums), launched its first record in November 2008.
    On this special occasion they had davidelfin as their art director. Likewise, the members of the band also collaborate with davidelfin’s group. One could say that the band is something like the musical extension of the brand, with which they have worked together many times by providing the music during the fashion shows.
  • FORD FOCUS COUPÉ-CABRIOLET

    FORD FOCUS COUPÉ-CABRIOLET BY DAVIDELFIN.
    The elegance and style which characterize this Ford model come together with both the talent and originality of the designer from Málaga under the expressive language of the “Kinetic Design” line by Ford, to create the Ford Focus Coupé-Cabriolet by davidelfín.
    100 exclusive vehicles which include innumerable elements that have been personalized by the designer, amongst which we must highlight their leather camouflage upholstery, sawn piece by piece and the two-colored paint of their bodywork, where brown moon has been the color chosen for the bottom part and black for the convertible top.
  • MIGUEL BOSÉ, PAPITO

    MIGUEL BOSÉ, PAPITO. WARNER MUSIC SPAIN, 2007.
    Miguel Bosé celebrated his 30 years of successes with a compilation of all his number 1 songs, accompanied by great artists and friends such as Shakira, Michael Stipe, Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin, Alaska or Bimba Bosé.
    Davidelfin worked together with the artist in order to design the record sleeve and the booklet for this sales success and they created an image that has become a reference point in the iconography of Spanish national pop.
    Apart from the LP, they designed a limited edition special pack which contained a handbag created by davidelfin.
  • CONVERSE

    CONVERSE BY DAVIDELFIN, 2007.
    Davidelfin designed a capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2007, a mini-collection inspired by Chuck Taylor’s All Star White mythical shoes for men and women.
    By way of using an untreated cotton thread and the Red and Blue Lines, they conferred each garment the clean and refined spirit of this sneakers’ design, which during decades has been several generations’ favorite footwear.
  • CONTEMPORARY ARTS CENTER OF MÁLAGA

    "CUERPO EXTRAÑO" CONTEMPORARY ARTS CENTER (C.A.C) MÁLAGA.
    Málaga’s first Contemporary Arts Center invited the designer David Delfín to present his work at an individual exhibition.
    For such exhibition, an audiovisual presentation was designed and mannequins dressed with some of the designer’s clothes were put on display.

    DESIGNING OF THE CAPRICHO ANDALUZ LABEL.
    Davidelfin dressed the extra virgin olive oil Capricho Andaluz (Whim from Andalusia), developed by means of ecological agriculture, by designing its label and packaging, bringing this high-quality product closer to the world of design.
  • SONY PLAY STATION PSP

    SONY PLAY STATION PSP CASE, 2005.
    For the launching of the new Playstation Portable PSP handheld video game console, davidelfin designed an exclusive case which bore the typography which is so characteristic of him; camouflage pattern cotton fabric with red patent leather edging.
    During the Ladies & Gentlemen Autumn/Winter 2005 collection fashion show, he paraded up and down the catwalk with one of the looks belonging to the collection.
  • MIGUEL BOSÉ, VELVETINA

    ART DIRECTION.
    Velvetina is Miguel Bosé’s alter ego and in this same name’s record he gave free reign to his creativity, where experimentation and electronics unite to give birth to the most daring adventure in the artist’s career. Apart from designing the record’s sleeve cover and its booklet, David Delfín conducted the art direction of the videoclips belonging to “Ojalá, Ojalᔠthe first single contained in the album and “Mano de Dios”.
  • DAC RUGS

    DAC RUGS COLLECTION,.
    DAC (Contemporary Rug Designing) commissioned the designing of a rug collection to davidelfin. By way of the designer’s characteristic typography and by incorporating iconic elements belonging to his individual universe, the designer drew up a collection of 4 models, handmade in wool and natural silk in India.
  • GALERÍA SOLEDAD LORENZO

    EXTIMIDAD EXHIBITION.
    The designer David Delfín presented, between the 7th and the 10th of January 2004 at the Soledad Lorenzo art Gallery in Madrid, an exhibition entitled “Extimidad”, a singular event for the world of Spanish fashion and a novelty in art gallery exhibitions. This way, fashion was able to penetrate a world which is apparently totally foreign to it and also managed to purposely blur the frontiers between a painting and a dress, between art and fashion.
  • ALICIA FRAMIS

    ANTI DOG. VENICE BIENNALE ’03. ARCO ‘04.
    Alicia Framis, the Catalonian artist living in Holland, created Anti dog, a project which condemns the aggressions which women have to suffer on a daily basis when they are victims of constant attacks by violent groups.
    In order to carry out this project, the artist had the collaboration of several fashion designers chosen from each of the cities where the project was to be presented.
    Designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, Dior or Hussein Chalayan participated in Paris. David Delfín and Jesús del Pozo took part in Madrid.
